The blocks pictured above are the original Hans Sumpf asphalt stabilized adobe block.
The adobe block produced in Madera had a chocolate coloring to it, (left) and
the adobe block produced in Fresno had more of a burnt orange tint to it, (right).
We match Hans Sumpf style adobe blocks from both their Fresno and Madera plants.
We currently match these blocks using iron oxides and natural umbers with Portand cement added as a stabilizer . We manufacture the same color, style and size.
